Since 1985 Clyde Diving Centre has served
divers who have come to the Clyde to enjoy some of the best
shipwrecks and scenic dives in Britain and the West of Scotland
If you are interested in genealogy,
Renfrewshire is where records still exist for many of our
famous exports to America , Canada and Australia and elsewhere
around the globe.
We are very fortunate
to have many wonderful courses near us.
Both beaches and hills are in close
proximity to Inverkip village which borders 102 square miles
of country park.
Sea, river and loch are all very accessible
from Inverkip.
Ardgowan Riding Centre in Inverkip
offers a variety of riding activities . The riding school
is BHS and ABRS approved. Holiday makers are welcome.
The Foresters House is ideal as a
touring base. Edinburgh ,Glasgow, Stirling, Loch Lomond and
The Burns Country are all less than 80 minutes by road or
Rail. The house is only 10 minutes from the ferries to the
Argyll coast and the Isles. Inverkip has it's own rail station
which has direct links to Glasgow Central Station and you
can be in the city centre in less than 40 minutes. The house
is only 30 minutes from Glasgow International Airport.
Inverkip is the home to Scotland's premier marina.
Glasgow is the largest retail centre in
the UK out with London with High Street favourites, designer boutiques
and stylish shopping centres. Glasgow is only 40 minutes by rail
direct from Inverkip Station which is only five minutes walk from
the Foresters House
For the convenience of business persons
we have installed an extra line for Internet access and a fax
machine. We also accept most credit cards. The Foresters House
is situated just 2 miles from Greenock and Gourock. Inverclyde
Royal Hospital, IBM Greenock and National Semi Conductor are all within a 10 minute drive from the house.
